Handwoven by women artisans in Rwanda, each basket is uniquely handmade from the sisal fibers of the cactus plant. Sisal is an environmentally friendly fiber, as it is biodegradable and almost no pesticides or fertilizers are used in its cultivation. The sisal is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaves, creating these unique and colorful baskets.
This wide, handwoven basket is a great statement piece in your home and also functional (ideal for holding jewelry, keys, or fruit - a perfectly stylish catchall!).
Hanging Instructions: A loop is sewn into the basket for hanging or simply use a tack or nail directly through the sisal; they are reversible and can be hung either way for a different look. These make great wall decor hung alone or in a collection. Mix and match designs for a unique decor pop!
